Horizons d'Alsace was formed in 1985 at the initiative of a dozen hoteliers from the Kaysersberg Valley to promote the comfort and charm of their quality family hotels. They quickly recognised that one of the strengths of working together was that they could offer choices that none could provide alone - for nature lovers, walkers and gourmets alike. That's how in 1986 the Tour d'Horizon was developed, walking breaks from one hotel to another without baggage. This concept rapidly attracted a growing clientele of regular or occasional walkers who could combine exploration of the Alsace with exercise and fresh air. The Tour d'Horizon which is still our most popular offering is now presented with 4 new themes: bike, gastronomy, wine and golf - something to appeal to everyone.
