Day 1 Welcome to ORBEY, a typical small mountain town, known for its thousand streams and located at the foot of the blue line of the Vosges and in the middle of the forest of 2 lakes.

Day 2 Our circuit takes us for this first day through pastures, meadows and forests to reach the high stubble fields. Depending on the season, the scents are different: Wild garlic, raspberries, blueberries, wild fennel, pine sap or mushrooms for our greatest olfactory pleasure. We arrive at Lac Noir, a mountain lake located at an altitude of 935 meters. We continue to Lac Blanc, a lake embedded in a very impressive glacial cirque, at around 1050 meters above sea level and dominated by the strange rock “Hans” which tells us its legend. We walk through a majestic forest to Etang Du Devin, a peat bog full of floral varieties and rare species. It is a wild and protected place whose atmosphere is immediately seductive. We finally arrive at the village of BONHOMME, a charming mountain village in the heart of the Vosges massif. (6h/15km/+819m/-601m)

Day 3 We leave towards the Col des Bagenelles then the Brézouard massif, the northern limit of the Hautes Vosges, the summit of which culminates at an altitude of 1229 m. During this day, the landscape offers us several magnificent panoramas over the entire massif and the Alsace plain. We pass several typical farms. In the distance, the ringing of bells reminds us that we are in the heart of a generous and tasty dairy country whose specialty is the famous Munster cheese. Other riches of the place are the fruit trees: apples, pears, Mirabelle plums, plums and cherries which are used to make delicious jams and tarts but also for the distillation of perfumed eaux-de-vie. We arrive at LAPOUTROIE, a green town surrounded by meadows and forests and renowned for its delicious brandies and Munster cheese. (6h/16km/+435m/-704m)

Day 4 End of the trip after breakfast.
